It’s time to share some news with you:

As you probably guessed we are currently in the studio, recording our next full-length. The name of this album will be „Ruinen“, which translates to „Ruins“ and it consists of 7 songs. The cover artwork will again be done by the talented Sahra, who also did the cover for „Meine Fesseln“ and we will be supported by some more talented artists with the design. There will also be some great musicians as guests on this record. More information will be given in time.

We are aiming for a release in early autumn, though there is no date fixed yet. However, the German release show is already planned: On October 15th at Backstage Munich we will play an one and a half hour set to celebrate the release of „Ruinen“ and also our 10th anniversary. We will play new songs but also take you through our whole discography. We will be joined by Negură Bunget, who will celebrate their 20th anniversary, our friends Wolves Den and Ars Irae, and Ossific.

We finally made the split with Panopticon available in our online store, you can order the beautiful CD Version or a digital download. Please note though that the digital download only includes our side of the split, for the Panopticon side please visit their Bandcamp page.

However: As I am out of town for the next weeks, I will not be able to ship any orders until March 29th. Depending on my internet access I will provide you with a download link for the split if you order it as soon as possible, so you can at least listen to it.

Finally we can share some news with you, that I have been hinting at for a couple of years now: On March 11th a project will be released that was in the planning since 2011, when I first met someone who should become one of my closest firends: Mr. Austin Lunn of the astonishing PANOPTICON. We met for the first time in Norway and got pretty drunk together, which ended in the in those famous musician words: „we should do a split together“. So that’s when this idea was born, and I am so happy and proud to finally present this. It’s a release that tells of friendship, woods and growing older. 1 original Black Metal song of each and one cover of an acoustic song of the other. So here it is, the trailer and the release information by Nordvis and Bindung Recordings.

We are proud to inform you that we signed a contract with Nordvis, home to many bands and friends like PANOPTICON and Nechochwen that we love and respect. We are leaving Black Blood Records in deepest friendship and we will be forever grateful for everything that Björn has done for us. Without him Waldgeflüster certainly would not be where we war today. But after 6 years and 3 full-lenghts it is time for a change and for new challenges…
We are looking forward to working with Nordvis and be a part of this great roster. With their love for music, their great releases and the already set-up collaboration with our US label Bindrune Recordings, Nordivs is just the perfect place for us.

The day has finally come: Our copies of Femundsmarka LPs arrived! You can order them now through our shop for 23 € plus shipping. No matter what the shop calculates: The shipping costs without paypal fees for an insured letter within Germany is 7,80, within Europe 10,20. If you don’t want the package to be insured to safe shipping costs please write so with your order. However I cannot take any responsibility for lost packages. That’s a risk you would have to take. Sorry, but I can’t handle this differently. Please make sure to read the information on our store page carefully.

Back to the cheerful topic: The LP comes as a black double LP in a beautiful Gatefold with rough paper and an additional lyrics sheet. There will come a splatter version of the vinyl in the near future as well. But due to some problems at the plant this will take some time still. The color of this version is called „beer“, looks beautiful as well and is limited to 100 pieces in total.
