31.12.2012 Retrospection
So, as the year turns, it is time for a little retrospection. 2012 was a very interesting year for me, and I want to thank you all for making this possible. We had the most amazing times at the gigs we played, and this we owe you. Ragnarök Festival was an experience that I will never forget, you guys were just awesome! When you sang along at the end of "Fichtenhain", this is a remembrance I will live on for the rest of my life…
But there were other great concerts we played: From small shows in Garching near Munich, to our roadtrip to Nice and Milan, or doing Vienna and Oberhausen on one weekend: There are so much great memories we could take throughout this year. I want to thank all these organizers who made this possible and always gave their best to support us, as well as these awesome bands we met. We made many new friends and meeting some old ones again. Thulcandra, Soleil Gris, Stickl and Odroerir, Dave and Heretoir, Der Weg einer Freiheit, Lantlôs, Benighted, Seuche and Fäulnis, Wassermanns Fiebertraum, Svarta, Mistur, Apathie: it was a blast having a chat and drinking with you guys! Hope we'll see again in 2013!
Last but not least: I want to thank you, the people who come to our shows, buy our records and shirts. Thank you for always supporting us!
Right now I am in the middle of pre-producing the new full-length. Next year will bring a lot of work, as I will start working on all the details of the songs and recording them. Lookout for some news soon!

So folks, as mentioned before, we have a bunch of new shows coming up, that I make offical finally. I will just list all upcoming shows below, so you can choose which to attend:
1. Metal Embrace Festival, Barleben September 8th. This was announced already, just wanted to remind you of that. Other acts will be e.g. Devastating Enemy, Andras, Trimonium and Ctulu. More information can be found here: Metal Embrace Festival.
2. Der Weg einer Freiheit, Munich, September 24th. We will be supporting Der Weg einer Freiheit at their gig at the Backstage. We are looking forward to meet these guys! Facebook Event.
3. Black Metal Invasion Vol. 2, Vienna, November 2nd. We don't know yet the other bands, but you will find the information there: Black Metal Invasion Vol.2.
4. Stage Secrets Festival, Oberhausen, November 3rd. I am looking forward to share some Beers with Marcel of Lantlos again, as well as to meet these other great acts: Nocte Obducta, Verdunkeln, Fäulnis! Stage Secrets Festival 2012.
5. Death before Christmas, Vöcklabruck, December 8th. We are coming to Austria again and will be joined by Bands like Svarta and Among Rats Death before Christmas.
6. Dark Easter Metal Meeting, Munich, March 31th. This will be another great show with Bands like Betlehem, Dark Fortress, Helrunar and Sycronomicon! Dark Easter Metal Meeting.

02.08.2012 New Gig in Vienna/Herbstklagen
We got a new gig coming up: We will play in Vienna on November 2nd at the Black Metal Invasion Vol. 2. This will take place at the Escape Metalcorner. We are looking forward to see Austria once again!

04.05.2012 Femundsmarka II Shirts/Night Warriors Festival cancelled

24.04.2012 First show in Italy/Show in Grafing/Ragnarök Pictures
We are proud to announce that we will play on July 8th in Italy for the first time. This will take place in Retorbido, one day after our show in Nice. So we will pretend this is our first european tour. Headliner at this show are Inquisition, another reason to be looking forward to this! More information here: Show in Italy

11.01.2012 First Show in France
We are very excited to announce that we will play in Nice on July 7th! This will be our first show in France and we are looking forward to this one! But we could also use your help: We are searching for a possibility to play on Friday, July 6th, somewhere along the way from Munich to Nice. Best would be some concert in North Italy. 20.12.2011 Some Gig Updates
We have some updates for: We will play in Munich together with Hellsaw, our friends from Thulcandra and Asphagor on February 26th. More information you'll find here: Backstage Munich. Then we will visit the Iron Eagle in Lugau on March 17th with Krater and Apathie: Iron Eagle Lugau. Last but not least we will play on June 9th at the Gahlen Moscht Festival in Göritz together with many other Bands: Gahlen Moscht.
Also I want to remember all our Czech friends to come to our Gig in Praha on December 29th! We are looking forward to this special evening!

There is a new Sampler called "Sound in Autumn Woods" on which we participated with our song "Kapitel III: Fichtenhain". The sampler is for free and there are other great bands on it such like Woods of Desolation or Dornenreich. You can download it here: Sounds in Autumn Woods.

13.09.2011 Ragnarök Festival/Concert update
We are very proud being able to announce that we will play on next years Ragnarök Festival on April 12th. It is an honour for us play with such great bands like Agalloch, and we hope to see some of you guys there and have some beers!
On the other hand there are some bad news concerning the concert in Nürnberg on Oktober 22th. There seem to be some problems with the venue, and now it is unsure if the concert will take place at another venue or if it will be cancelled. We'll keep you updated about this. Luckily there are some other plans being forged right now, but nothing is for sure yet.

08.07.2011 Bavarian Battle Open Air, new Concerts
I want to remind you of the Bavarian Battle Open Air in Halfing, where we will play on July 22th at 6pm. Be sure not to miss this small but awesome festival!

23.03.2011 Femundsmarka out on May 27th/Trailer
Am 27ten Mai 2011 erscheint unser neues Album "Femundsmarka - Eine Reise in drei Kapiteln" über Black Blood Records. Einen Trailer hierzu könnt ihr euch entweder auf unserer Myspace Seite anhören, oder hier auf Youtube.
Das Album ist ein Konzept-Album welches mein Bruder und ich über eine gemeinsame Trekkingreise im August 2009 geschrieben haben. Das Cover findet ihr unter "Musik", unten findet ihr die Tracklist zu diesem Album. Die CD wurde zwischen Ende Dezember 2010 und Anfang Januar 2011 in den Schattenschmiede Studios aufgenommen, produziert und gemischt wurde es von Winterherz. Das Schlagzeug wurde von Ludwig Maier in den Golden King Gear Mastering Studios aufgenommen, und ebenfalls gemastert. Wer den Klang mag und in den Schattenschmiede Studios etwas aufnehmen oder gemischt haben will schreibt bitte eine Email.

On May 27th 2011 our new full-lenght "Femundsmarka - Eine Reise in drei Kapiteln" will be relased by Black Blood Records. You can listen to a trailer on our myspace page or watch it on Youtube. This record is a concept album, my brother and me wrote about a trekking journey we did in August 2009. You can see the cover under "Musik", below you'll find the tracklist. 14.12.2010 Nachtrag Konzert in Wien
Wir sind wieder zurück aus Wien, und möchten uns bei allen Beteiligten für diesen mehr als gelungenen Abend bedanken! Sowohl bei Catapult Promotion für die Organisation, sowie bei den anderen Bands die das Escape richtig eingeheizt hatten, und ganz besonders bei den Fans, die uns diesen schönen Abend ermöglicht haben! Vielen Dank für die Zugabe Rufe und dass ihr so enthusiastisch bei der Sache wart! Das nächste Mal werden wir auch mehr Material mitbringen, sodass wir euren Forderungen nachgeben können!
Falls irgendjemand Fotos oder Videos von unserem Konzert gemacht hat, würden wir uns sehr freuen, wenn ihr diese uns zukommen lassen könntet! Auf Youtube befinden sich inzwischen zwei Videos, danke an den unbekannten Ersteller! Falls du noch mehr haben solltest, melde dich doch bitte bei mir!
Die neuen Waldgeflüster Patches haben sich bei dem Konzert wohl großer Beliebtheit erfreut, weswegen ich persönlich im Augenblick keine mehr habe. Allerdings habe ich inzwischen wieder neue beim Label geordert, sodass ich hoffe euch demnächst wieder mit diesen schönen Stücken versorgen zu können!

8.12.2010 Neues Album "Femundsmarka" und Konzerte

Voller Stolz kann ich heute verkünden, dass Waldgeflüster am 27ten Dezember die Schattenschmiede Studios betreten werden, um den Nachfolger zu Herbstklagen aufzunehmen. Das Album wird den Titel "Femundsmarka – Eine Reise in drei Kapitel" tragen, und voraussichtlich im Frühjahr 2011 wie gewohnt über Black Blood Records erscheinen. Zum ersten Mal ist dieses Waldgeflüster Album nicht im Alleingang, sondern zusammen mit meinem Bruder P. geschrieben worden. Mit dieser CD verarbeiten wir eine Trekkingreise die wir gemeinsam im August 2009 in Femundsmarka, Norwegen gemacht haben. Weitere Details zu dem Album werden wir nach und nach bekanntgeben.
Desweiteren stehen wieder zwei Waldgeflüster Konzerte an: Zum Einen am 19ten März in Rußdorf bei Chemnitz, zum Anderen am 16ten April in Rosenheim zusammen mit Ars Irae und weiteren.
Ich möchte außerdem noch einmal an die neuen Waldgeflüster Patches erinnern, die ihr entweder über Black Blood Records oder direkt über mich für 3€ beziehen könnt.

With pride, I can announce that Waldgeflüster will enter Schattenschmiede Studios on Dezember 27th to record the follower to Herbstklagen. The album will be named "Femundsmarka – Eine Reise in drei Kapitel" (Femundsmarka – A Journey in three chapters), with a planned release by Black Blood Records in Spring 2011. Since I've been joined by my brother P., this is going to be the first Waldgeflüster material which hasn't been written solely by me. The album concept revolves around our mutual Trekking tour into the vast region of Femundsmarka, Norway in August 2009. More details are about to come in the near future.
Concerts: There are two upcoming gigs, one on March 19th in Rußdorf near Chemnitz and one on April 16th in Rosenheim together with Ars Irae and others.
Also I want to remind you of the new Waldgeflüster Patches, that you can order at Black Blood Records or with an email to me.

1.12.2010 Konzert/PATCHES
Nach langem Warten ist es soweit: Die Waldgeflüster Patches sind endlich erhältlich! Unter folgendem Link können die Patches bestellt, sowie das Design betrachtet werden: Black Blood Records Der Preis beläuft sich auf 3€. Nächste Woche werde auch ich meine Exemplare erhalten, sodass sie dann auch über mich bestellt werden, bzw. am 11.12ten in Wien direkt gekauft werden können. Das führt mich gleich zu den weiteren Neuigkeiten: Menhir mussten ihren Auftritt am 11.12ten leider absagen. Dadurch rutschen wir auf die Headliner Position mit etwas mehr Spielzeit. Außerdem verringert sich der Kartenpreis auf 8€! Die Karten sind immer noch über mich erhhältlich, Interessierte melden sich bitte unter winterherz (at) gmx.at. Das wars erstmal für heute. In Naher Zukunft werde ich einige Informationen zu der nächsten Veröffentlichung von Waldgeflüster bekanntgeben. 24.10.2010 Neues Konzert in Wien am 11.12.2010
Schon wieder steht ein neues Konzert an: Am 11.12.2010 spielen wir als Vorgruppe von Menhir im Escape Metalcorner in Wien. Wir erinnern uns gerne an den letzten Auftritt dort, und hoffen dass auch dieser Abend ebenso intensiv wird wie der letzte! Als weiter Bands spielen Dismal Lumentis, Oskorei of Asgard und Wotans Wille. Die Karten kosten im Vorverkauf 15€ allerdings könnt ihr sie über uns zu einem verbilligten Preis beziehen. Wer also Karten kaufen will meldet sich bitte unter winterherz (@) gmx.at. Wir hoffen auf euer zahlreiches Erscheinen und freuen uns sehr darauf zusammen mit Menhir für euch zu spielen!

16.6.2010 Waldgeflüster suchen neue Gitarristen im Großraum München/Rosenheim
Nach jahrelanger erfolgreicher und inspirierender Zusammenarbeit, werden Waldgeflüster und Alex und Noctar in Zukunft getrennte Wege gehen. Begründet liegt dies einfach in einer zu großen räumlichen Distanz, die sich durch neue Umstände ergeben hat. Wir trennen uns in aller Freundschaft, und ich wünsche den Beiden viel Erfolg auf ihrem weiteren musikalischen Weg, sei es mit Schwarzkristall, welche ich dem geneigten Hörer noch einmal empfehlen möchte, oder etwaigen anderen Projekten. Ich möchte mich bei Alex und Noctar bedanken, für die andauernde Unterstützung und Einsatzbereitschaft, welche sie über die ganze Zeit hinweg an den Tag legten. Danke für eine unvergessliche Zeit und viele schöne Erinnerungen an Konzerte, Bandproben und Gespräche. Irgendwann werden wir wieder gemeinsam Musik machen!
Leider bringt es dieser Umstand mit sich, dass wir zwei neue Gitarristen im Großraum München/Rosenheim suchen. Ihr solltet auf alle Fälle Einsatzbereitschaft, Können und eigenes Equipment mitbringen. Im Augenblick proben wir in der Nähe von Wasserburg, Proberaum, Plattenvertrag und fähige Mitmusiker sind vorhanden. Interessenten melden sich bitte per Email an winterherz(at)gmx.at.
Was die noch bestätigten Auftritte und etwaige Zukünftige betrifft: Alex und Noctar werden mir weiterhin an den Gitarren aushelfen, solange noch kein Ersatz gefunden ist, WALDGEFLÜSTER bleibt also weiterhin ohne Einschränkung Live-fähig!
